Last Saturday, I went to Sherando Park in Stephens City, Virginia with Matt, Megan, Ella and Sophia. Matt is the Area Director for Young Life in the Shenandoah Valley. I was involved with Young Life when I was in high school and then later worked with Young Life at the Service Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
I had a blast just hanging out with the Vaughts! It was fun capturing their day at the park. I’d love to hang out with your family, please give me a call! 
So, do you remember Meaghan? No, that’s not Meaghan, that’s Lorelai!
Back in January, I was at the Babies R Us in Sterling for their “Super Baby Shower” event. While I was there, I had a drawing for a Maternity Session and Baby Plan. Meaghan was my winner. Since Meaghan and Ken live in New Jersey, I have to catch up with Lorelai when they come down to visit Meaghan’s family in Fairfax. Lorelai is now three-months old and she drools!
A few weekends ago, I ventured out to Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna with Paula and Gerald for their Engagement Session. We’ll be seeing some more of them in October after the wedding.
David and Kayla were married May 26, 2007, Memorial Day Weekend! The ceremony was held in Falls Church at the Falls Church Presbyterian Church and the reception was held at the Fairview Park Marriott.
Memorial Day Weekend is the weekend that Rolling Thunder is held every year. I always like watching all the motorcycles go by. Well, I think all of the Rolling Thunder participants were staying at the Marriott, because the parking lot was full of bikes. Silly me, I did not get any shots of the bikes and I had my camera with me! Duh!
Well, I did remember to take some pictures of the wedding! Here are a few I would like to share:
Hey Ladies! Trash the Dress has been getting a lot of press lately! There have been articles in the New York Times and stories on Entertainment Tonight and Good Morning America! I have a group of about 10 photographers right now that would be doing a Trash the Dress Bash in the Northern Virginia area. We haven’t set a date yet, but we would like to do this sometime in July. Since most of the photographers involved have weddings to shoot, we would have to do this on a Sunday. If anyone is interested, please leave a comment on this blog (please make sure you provide your e-mail address!) and I’ll be in touch with you.
Oh, and this will not cost you a cent! ** You will have to agree to allowing the photographers present to use the images for their portfolio and commercial use.
