One Light DC: The Pictures

Last Wednesday, Zack Arias was in town for the One Light Workshop. This is a seriously intense workshop and I highly recommend it for anyone seriously into photography! Okay, I just said “seriously” twice in the same sentence, am I allowed to do that?

Newborn Session: Nathaniel

This is Nathaniel. I met his mommy Meredith, at Babies R Us during their Super Baby Shower in January. I must admit that it is very odd to type “Nathaniel” (with an ‘i’ at the end) because my son is “Nathanael” (with an ‘a’ at the end). Taking pictures of kids – a lesson

Okay, these (un)willing volunteers are actually my own kids, but I wanted to illustrate some basic kid portrait tips. My kids looked rather nice in their church clothes, so I complimented them on how nice they looked and asked them if they wanted their picture taken.
